Hello and welcome, I am so happy you are here. My name is Rachel Schmidt and I use nature based mindfulness, depth psychology, holistic wellness practices, and contemplative arts to help women shift their awareness into self reflection and mindfulness so they can take care of all parts of self, and live the life that is calling them ~ because a calm and clear mind creates a deeply happy body and soul. 

My studio is located in a forest in British Columbia, Canada surrounded by 150-year-old trees. I have a background in social work, a depth psychology coaching approach called Psychosynthesis, and holistic wellness. Over the last few years I have blended these practices and developed a series of self reflection and holistic wellness courses and programs where women across the world can meet online in safe and generative spaces.

☀️NEW PROGRAM: A Season of Self Care

The goal of this program is to offer inspiration, motivation, and support so you can to focus on your health, and increase your sense of well-being in your body and the world. Fall and winter are the perfect time to slow down, to heal, to dream, to rejuvenate, and to reset. Taking a seasonal time out can deeply support your inner creative life, your body, digestion, sleep rhythms, and your nervous system. 

The first step to transforming your life and your relationship with your body is learning to take care of all parts of self so that your healing and wellness approach is based on wholeness and integration, and not a new diet. Like a tree in the forest, you need deep roots in generative darkness, nutrients, sunshine, water, and fresh air to grow strong and healthy. This type of personal work is a return to self, and a journey back home to your body.

Program Highlights: 

  • 4 month holistic health & healing journey for women 
  • 16 weeks of support, mindful practices & coaching
  • Strong focus on a mind, body, spirit & health at every size approach to goal setting 
  • Live Tuesday evening group coaching sessions 2x month to stay on track, track goal progress, and integrate new learning and self care practices 
  • Opportunity to connect more deeply with self, and other women to share creative ideas and collective wisdom, and cheer one another on.

☀️Program Details:

We will meet for eight interactive sessions, twice per month for 4 months (November 1, 2022  - February 28, 2023). Our Zoom time happens in 2.5 hour segments. First class starts on Tuesday, November 1 at 6 pm PDT. 

This is a four month online 'live' program, the length of time is important to allow trust and relationships to grow, and ample time for self reflection and goal achievement. Classes are small and online but live so you can connect with other women. 

Every month you will spend time in nature exploring a contemplative arts practice, while working on integrating new wellness and self care practices into your daily life. T

The total 4 month program fee is $800 CAD or you can pay $200 monthly x 4 months. Total program hours are 20 hours plus follow up by email, and private group chats. I work hard to keep value high and costs manageable to ensure more women can participate. You can pay with credit card, paypal or by etransfer to

Please note if you withdraw a week before the program begins a full refund is available. This gives me time to fill your seat. Refunds are not available once the program begins as I will not be able to fill your seat.

☀️Facilitator Bio: Rachel Schmidt, BSW, PLC

Rachel Schmidt specializes in nature-based mindfulness, holistic wellness, and a depth psychology coaching practice called Psychosynthesis. She has a special interest in contemplative arts, and uses mindful photography, visual art, and filmmaking in her work. Her educational background includes training and certification in Psychosynthesis from the Synthesis Institute in San Francisco, a Bachelor of Social Work Degree from the University of Victoria, and an Independent Filmmaking Diploma from Langara College. Rachel has worked as a filmmaker and photographer with human rights and environmental organizations across the globe. She brings 25 years of global activism, counselling, group facilitation, and teaching experience.
