Another place, another time - where you can discover new parts of yourself.

SOLO
WORK
Solo work is the sacred task of becoming who you truly are.
At some point in life, many women feel an undeniable pull to turn inward. They can sense in their bodies that there is something more waiting for them—something beyond the day-to-day and the identity they’ve carefully constructed.
A quiet call from within, asking to be found and reclaimed. It takes real bravery to embark on solo work, but the rewards are life-changing.
Rachel Schmidt, BSW, PLC
Hello and welcome, my name is Rachel.
I specialize in supporting women on solo journeys to listen deeply to what’s calling them and explore the longings and questions that need attention, so you can return to your true self.
I bring warmth, depth, and over 30 years of social work experience to guide women in reconnecting with their deeper values and creating lives of meaning, alignment, and fulfillment.

My approach is rooted in psychosynthesis and nature-based mindfulness—two complementary pathways that honour the whole person as creative, resilient, and capable of growth. As a certified psychosynthesis practitioner and contemplative arts teacher, I use reflective, creative, and nature-centred practices that help women notice the patterns in their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, understand where they come from and what they mean, and make choices that feel more aligned, clear, and satisfying.

I work with women who sense that a different kind of life is possible—one that feels truer to who they are. Together, we explore goals, patterns, and longings to uncover clarity and choice, especially during times of transition such as new beginnings, midlife changes, or later-life renewal.
Your
Guided
Inner
Adventure
Awaits
Solo Work is a guided, one-on-one journey designed to help you listen, reflect, and move through what’s rising inside you. It might begin with quiet reflection - sitting with your thoughts, noticing sensations in your body, or being present on a stretch of land that calls to you. You’ll explore the patterns, emotions, and questions that keep surfacing, and we’ll work together to make sense of them, often through journaling, creative exercises, or simple yet powerful practices that connect body, mind, and spirit.

You’ll have a trusted space to speak honestly, to be witnessed, and to be gently challenged. You’ll track what’s shifting, notice what’s working, and embody the insights that emerge, so that learning isn’t just mental. It becomes lived experience. Sometimes the work moves outdoors, sometimes through imagination, sometimes through quiet observation of daily life. It’s both deeply personal and profoundly expansive - a way to reconnect with yourself, uncover what’s calling you next, and step forward with clarity, confidence, and grounded purpose.
