A Season of Change

A slow, generative space to release the roles you have outgrown, tune into the quiet wisdom of the land, and allow your next chapter to unfold in its own natural rhythm.

A Season of Change is a 4-month reflective circle for women navigating life's deeper transitions.

Over the course of four months, you will step away from your daily roles to gather in a highly intentional space designed for reflection, community connection, and creative expression.

Why this circle exists

Many women tell me that their lives look good on paper but beneath the surface, something is missing. The goals that used to drive them don’t feel meaningful anymore, and they are carrying a quiet longing for something more.

If you find yourself in this place, I can support you in reconnecting with what feels meaningful again—where you find you beauty, what brings you joy, opens your heart, and reminds you of the life you actually want to be living.

There is a reason we are beginning this journey in June. Summer is a season of expansive light and open spaces. While the days are long and golden, the natural world gives us the perfect backdrop to slow down, breathe, and look inward.

How this journey will help you

Over these four months, you will explore:

Who you are beyond what you do:
Begin to loosen the identities that have held your life together—parent, partner, professional, caretaker—and meet what is underneath them. Many women arrive here sensing something alive within them that has been contained for years, waiting for space to emerge. Alongside this is the deeper question: Who am I, really, when I am no longer only what I do?

Calm a busy mind:
Step out of constant mental activity and return to the deeper intelligence of your body. Beneath the noise is something more essential: presence, feeling, and the quiet knowing that has always been there. In the stillness of the forest, attention softens and life begins to move through you again rather than being managed by you.

Map your actual capacity:
Meet your energy not as something evolving. Many women in midlife feel a strong inner shift—an increase in sensitivity, awareness, and aliveness that no longer fits old structures. This is where you begin to shape your life around what truly supports your vitality and expression, rather than what contains it.

Share the threshold:
Midlife can feel like a powerful threshold where meaning, mortality, beauty, grief, and purpose all begin to surface at once. Not as loss, but as awakening. There is often a sense of life pressing forward from within, asking to be lived more fully and honestly. In a small circle of women walking this same edge, what feels intense or personal becomes shared, grounded, and deeply human.

✨ Hello, I’m Rachel.

A Season of Change is for women who feel caught between who they once were and who they are becoming. I created The Forest Studio as a quiet, beautiful, reflective space to support women moving through this transition. I bring over 30 years of experience in social work, depth psychology coaching, and teaching to this work, along with my own lived experience. In my 50s, I have navigated the transition of an empty nest, the complexities of caring for aging parents, deep seasons of grief, and the release of a career identity I had simply outlived.

My daily life and work are anchored in an ancient forest of 150-year-old trees in British Columbia, Canada. Through nature-based contemplation, one-to-one consulting, and women's self development courses, we explore the living relationship between your inner landscape and the living world, loosening outgrown roles so your next chapter can unfold naturally.

Whether you are stepping into a new season or looking for a space to simply exhale, I am here to walk alongside you as you find your way back home to yourself.
