Summer Workshop Series
An invitation into a conversation with summer. Through contemplative art, nature-based practices, and reflective exploration, you'll deepen your relationship with the season, discovering what the changing light, abundant landscape, and quiet rhythms of summer might reveal about your own life.
Summer Field Notes & North of Summer
A Two-Part Contemplative Journey
-
Friday, August 7 (10 am - 12 pm PST)
-
Friday, September 11 (10 am - 12 pm PST)
Summer has its own intelligence.
It invites us to slow down, linger, and notice what is fully alive. In the warmth of long days and abundant light, we are reminded that growth isn't always something to strive for—sometimes it is something to witness, appreciate, and inhabit.
Together, we'll spend two live online gatherings exploring the wisdom of the season through contemplative art, reflective writing, nature-based practices, and thoughtful conversation. Rather than simply observing nature, we'll learn to see our own lives reflected in it, discovering how the changing landscape can deepen our understanding of ourselves.
Between our August and September sessions, you'll be invited into a contemplative nature-based art practice. Spending time outdoors in your own landscape, you'll gather observations, images, colours, and textures before creating a personal artistic response. This creative exploration will become a bridge between the two gatherings, allowing the season to continue unfolding long after our first session ends.
-
In Field Notes of Summer, we'll immerse ourselves in the fullness of the season—cultivating attention, wonder, and gratitude for what is flourishing.
-
In North of Summer, we'll turn our attention to the subtle shift in the season. As the light begins to soften and summer gently matures, we'll reflect on what has come into fuller view, what is ours to carry forward, and what is quietly beginning to change.
This is an invitation to spend six weeks in conversation with summer, allowing the natural world to become both teacher and companion as the season gently turns.
Cost: $125 CAD + GST

Rachel is an exceptional facilitator...warm, compassionate, and deeply attuned to the people she works with. She creates a space where everyone feels safe, seen, and genuinely valued. This is the kind of thoughtful care and presence our world needs more of. If you're considering joining one of her women's series, don't hesitate, you won't regret it.

What makes this course so special is the pace. There was no pressure to have the answers or to become someone new. Instead, Rachel gently helped us slow down, listen deeply, and notice what was already trying to emerge within us. The combination of nature, creativity, and reflection created profound shifts that I never expected.
Fiona, 63
Rachel has created something truly unique. Rather than offering quick fixes, she invites you into a process of listening, to yourself, to nature, and to what is quietly calling you forward. If you're longing for more meaning, clarity, or simply a place to breathe and reconnect, this investment is a beautiful gift to yourself.
